Here's a peek at the 2013 Tulane Beads on Broadway Gala at Pier 60 with Trombone Shorty. Tulane University’s fifth anniversary Beads on Broadway featuring Tulane President’s Medal Recipient and Grammy®-nominated Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue was on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Pier 60 - Chelsea Piers in New York City. Our 2013 annual Mardi Gras Gala was a spectacular event with reception, cocktails, dancing and all things good about Tulane and New Orleans. Thank you to Byron Kantrow and his team, President Scott Cowen, the Jeffrey A. Altman Foundation, Elyse Luray, Beth & Michael Fascitelli and the wonderful sponsors for their enduring support of our beloved city.
