The great Clay Blackmore taught me how to photograph everyone - but I also like to photograph everything. So when my buddy Peter Shapiro (entrepeneur behind the Brooklyn Bowl and The Capitol Theater) asked me to capture his lower east side venture with Co-Founder/Creative Director Aleah Speranza, I was psyched to capture the psychedelic Hoodie Shop with my lens. The Hoodie Shop specializes in clothing with hoods, but the vibe is more fantasy hang-out than traditional boutique. While I was photographing the store, Aleah cranked up a vintage Black Keys concert on the video screen and amped up the sound system - creating the perfect downtown throwback vibe. You have to check it out and pick up some super-hip hoodies for your next party. Learn more about The Hoodie Shop here and check out the pix - enjoy!
