When I learned that I was going to photograph Noa for her Bat Mitzvah, I was beyond thrilled. We've been family friends for over a decade and Noa and my daughter Eden have been friends since their days in pre-K together! Noa is a 100% superstar with a heart of gold and a spirit as big as the galaxy. She's one of the most beautiful and fun 13 year olds I've had the priviledge to photograph and one look at her fashion shoot, you'll see why. We hopped across the 59th st. tram to take some sunset photographs on Roosevelt Island and came up with pure gold. Then for her Bat Mitzvah service I was honored to document their "council of the elders" experience, started by a member of their family designed to pass down wisdom from the elders in their family to Noa. Truly touching and special. Then we closed out the 2014 season with a bang, first parading through Times Square and partying hard at Edison Ballroom. It was awe-inspiring to watch Noa beam with energy, and the love in the room from her family in friends was a testament to her star-power. What a night - mazel tov Noa, we love you!
